Jolse Mini-Haul

Hey guys!

So a couple of weeks ago I ordered from Jolse, which is an online store which sells many cosmetics products from many popular Korean brands such as Etude House, Innisfree, Holika Holika and Tony Moly. Besides beauty products, they also sell clothes, accessories, and hobby related items. The great thing about this website is they ship worldwide and charge at a very affordable price + you also get freebies! Yay~

Date ordered: October 28th, 2013
Date received: November 10th, 2013
It took roughly 11 days to get here. (Fast shipping!)

The items came in a cardboard box and each of the item were nicely wrapped in bubble wrap, so this ensured that everything inside were safe.

Ok so these are the things I got and the free samples I received with my order.

The products I bought;

From left to right:

ETUDE HOUSE Concealer & Eyeliner Brush
TONYMOLY Mineral Skin-Fit Makeup Fixer
MIZON All in One Snail Repair Cream
BENTON Snail Bee High Content Essence

With this order, because I spent over $20 ($48 but with my first purchase, I got $3 off so it became $45) I received 6 samples, a packet of blotting sheets and a free TONYMOLY nose strip.

Furthermore, Jolse deducts 300 points which is about $3 off your first order.

Haha, and as always, I'm more excited about the samples I got than the actual products I bought. lol

Okay so these are all the freebies I received...

Starting from the top left;

Blotting sheets
TONY MOLY Egg Pore Nose Pack
LIOELE Multi Seaweed Gel

REVIEW: Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit in #W24

Hi, guys. Okay so in this post, I will be reviewing one of Etude House’s bestselling product, the...

 Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit

I first came across this BB Cream around June of last year when I was on a “hunt” for a good everyday base makeup that is quick and easy to use, and that can provide a decent coverage.

When my mum’s friend went overseas, I asked her to buy me a couple of things, and this BB Cream was one of few things she bought for me! I’ve been using this BB Cream for over a year now, and I love it. (hehehe, actually, I’m onto my second bottle already, so that says something!)

Okay, so without further ado, here is my review of the BB Cream!

The BB Cream's packaging
What the box looks like

So on the box, it says that this BB Cream “promotes silky complexion with pearl infused sheer coverage, contain sadenosine and arbutin for anti-wrinkle and whitening efficacies. SPF for UV protection.”

This BB Cream provides efficacy:
    • UV protection (SPF30/PA++)

    • Anti-Wrinkle and Whitening Properties

    • Anti-Darkening

Coverage:

This BB Cream claims to have “sheer” coverage; although, you can build it up to a medium coverage. With one pump, it can cover the entire face, even out skin tone and cover any redness quite well. It also covers some (or even most) blemishes, imperfections and hyperpigmentation from post acne breakouts; however, you may still need to use a bit of concealer to cover it depending on how much they are still peaking through or how flawless you want your skin to look.

Swatches

Finish:

This definitely lives up to its claims of “bright looking skin”, because this does give your skin a natural, yet dewy and glowy finish.

Lasting Power:

This BB Cream lasted very well on my face, it stayed for about 6-7 hours with powder.

Oil-Control:

The oil-control of this product I would say is low; although I set this with powder, I still find myself looking a bit shiny within 1 hour after applying makeup.

Consistency:

It has a slightly thicker consistency, but rest assured, it feels very light on the skin and it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling to your face.

Smell:

It has a floral/sunscreen kind of scent to it, but it is quite subtle.

Packaging:

It comes in a tube packaging with a pump which I like because it is very hygienic and less messy.

Colour:

There are 4 shades available in this BB Cream, which is awesome because I find that it caters for more skin tones than what other BB Creams out in the market right now. I am in the shade #W24 Honey Beige. This product oxidizes to your skin colour after about 5-10 minutes of applying.

Application:

On the box, it is recommended you apply it all over your face with your hands. I tried it with a brush and my fingers and I find that both of them work amazingly. However, I much prefer using a brush to apply it as it gives a better coverage and for hygienic purposes. Using your fingers gives a more natural finish.
 I use about a pump for the whole face and I apply it with either my Sigma F80 or Real techniques Expert Face Brush and then I set it with powder.

Okay, so just to sum up everything…

Pros:

Provides good coverage (up to a medium coverage)
SPF30/PA++
Anti-darkening
Anti-wrinkle
Whitening
Gives a natural finish that is glowy and dewy
Provides a brightening effect on the face
Lasting finish is about 6-7 hours
Evens out skin tone and covers imperfections
Very easy to blend with either your fingers or a brush
Feels light on the skin
Comes with a pump
You get 60g of product in the tube
Available in 4 different colours
Doesn’t appear cakey

Cons:

·       Poor oil-control

Verdict:

4.5/5 – I really love this product, it's suitable for all season!

If you are after a good everyday base make-up that is quick and easy to use, then I highly recommend you get this one.
